Rope has a built in security feature which controls access
levels for both managers and employees. The only area that
an employee may log into is the AVS, where the licenses are
swiped. That person does not have rights to change any of
the setup options, run reports, add customers to a VIP or
Guest list, or make changes to any customerís account. In
order to affect these areas of the software, you must log
into the managerís area. While logged on as an employee, you
will not even see the other menu options along the top of
the screen. The password for the managerís area should only
be given to those who need to make these kinds of changes.
All passwords may be changed under the Setup menu.
